Piano found on Ben Nevis

A team of volunteer litter pickers cleaning up Ben Nevis stumbled across something that wouldn’t quite fit into a bin bag earlier this month – a piano!

Unsure as to how it ended up near the summit of Britain’s highest mountain, the only clue as to when it got there was a biscuit wrapper with a best before date of 1986.

Last week Scotsman Kenny Campbell claimed the piano was actually a Hammond Organ, which he carried up the mountain for charity in 1971. He said he then played Scotland the Brave to a bunch of Swedish trekkers before heading home for tea...
