Cleaning training for teens – your help needed February 14th 2006 Asset Skills, the Sector Skills Council for the cleaning sector is currently consulting with senior managers across the sector on the design and structure of a new type of vocational qualification for 14-19 year olds - and wants your help.
With a specific diploma for the construction and built environment - of which cleaning is a key component - organisations have the opportunity to become involved with the consultation period, ensuring the right level of skills are built into the diploma ready for launch in 2008. Feedback from employers on this vital first stage of consultation s required by 31 March. The Construction and Built Environment diploma will consist of three levels:
