Get involved now Last chance to sign up for Skills Roadshow August 30th 2006 In today’s competitive market cleaning companies can no longer compete on price alone and organisations best assets are the staff it employs and their individual skills, knowledge and expertise. To address skills issues and plan for the future Asset Skills will be visiting your area with a series of breakfast sessions designed to garner your views and experience to assist in building a strategy to take skills and training for cleaning into the future, and showcase the ways in which Asset Skills is helping employers with information, advice and guidance on training and funding.
Asset Skills, Head of Research, Sally Walters comments “The road shows will provide ideal networking opportunities running alongside the workshops that have been designed for employers to voice their views and have a real impact for the development of skills and qualifications specifically for the industry”.
The information gathered from the road shows will feed into the work to develop a Sector Skills Assessment, an assessment of current and future skills needs, being a sophisticated analysis of sector trends, drivers of productivity, areas for workforce development and reducing skills gaps and shortages.
