Building Cleanability Awards toast Sodexho's healthcare August 30th 2006 Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust came top out of all the country’s healthcare buildings when it won the National Health category at this year’s ‘Building Cleanability Awards’. Sodexho Healthcare has provided cleaning services at the hospital for the last 13 years.
Also recognised at the awards were the Glasgow Royal Infirmary and the Meadows in Stockport, which received 4 Star and 3 Star awards respectively. Both are also clients of Sodexho Healthcare, which nominated the three sites for their ‘cleanability’.
Nominated buildings were visited by a qualified Awards assessor, who judged each one against a wide range of criteria.
“We are delighted that these three very different healthcare establishments have gained industry recognition for their high standard of cleanability," says Iain Anderson, managing director, Sodexho Healthcare. "In today’s climate, where cleaning standards in hospitals are very much in the spotlight, well designed buildings combined with our experience can reassure patients that they are being well looked after.”
