More time to enter as Golden Service Awards go biannual
April 1st 2006

After feedback from last year’s award winners, Kimberly-Clark Professional has decided to make the Golden Service Awards a biannual event – giving entrants more time to prepare their bid and winners a longer period to reap the benefits of their success.

The 2007 UK Golden Service Awards programme will now be announced in autumn this year - adding at least six months from launch to closing date for entries.

Acknowledged internationally as the ‘hallmark of quality’ the ‘Oscars of the cleaning industry’ started as a modest programme with a presentation lunch for 34 people held at the Dorchester’s Rooftop Suite. Since then it has outgrown a series of top hotels: In 2005, having outsold The Savoy’s 380 seater capacity, it moved to the Royal Lancaster for 600 finalists, winners, guests and industry association members.

The awards programme gives equal opportunities and encouragement to in-house cleaning teams and contractors ranging from small start-ups to large PLC organisations. According to Martyn Vesey, chief executive of the Cleaning Support Services Association, it is a powerful tool in the promotion of excellence in the cleaning and support services industry.

For further information as to how to enter, or attend the event use the enquiry system below.
