Radio listeners enthralled by urinals
October 1st 2008

In September millions of curious radio one listeners tuned in to the Dick and Dom Show to hear what special guest Mike James, MD of Bio Productions had to say about urinal blocks. Listeners were invited to phone in and question James on what presenter Dom described as his “very odd job”.

Questions varied from the outright ballsy to the bizarre and included,“How many pees do you get per block?” to which James estimated a “footfall of around 1000”.“Could your blocks be made with targets on them to encourage men to aim more carefully?”“Yes they could, if the order was big enough,” and “Can you recognise your urinal blocks when you go to the gents by the smell alone?”– surprisingly this was answered by a yes.

Dick and Dom were also keen to investigate, so James was grilled on the carcinogenic properties of chemical cleaners, and explained that Bio Productions creates blocks that use only bacteria and environmentally friendly chemicals to clean the urinal pipes and eradicate smells.

Dick and Dom ended the interview with the immortal words, “Enjoy the rest of your urinal block making life my friend.”
