February 1st 2004 Following successful contracts at Cribbs Causeway Shopping Centre in Bristol and the Brunswick Shopping Centre in Scarborough, Prudential has appointed AIM-listed MacLellan to provide a range of integrated services at its West Orchards Shopping Centre in Coventry.
The company retains 43 members of the existing workforce and provides janitorial services and security, as well as twilight and day time cleaning services and window cleaning. West Orchards Centre manager, Andy Talbot, commented Even in the first few days I could see a visible improvement in centre standards, across the board. They provided a mobilisation team, who handled all the TUPE negotiations; and whats been impressive is the seamless transfer from our old contractor to MacLellan.
