Healthcare conference: Book now and save
January 16th 2007

Annual ADM Conference, 18th – 20th April, Blackpool

Hospital cleaning is very high on the government’s agenda; it is difficult to open a newspaper these days without reading about MRSA and other related health associated infections. This has to be a team effort but leading the front line are the operational managers and their supervisors, many of them members of the Association of Domestic Managers (ADM).

The 2007 annual Conference of the ADM promises to be biggest and best so far, pulling in a wider range of delegates and even more exhibitors to the prestigious Imperial Hotel on Blackpool’s seafront. We are also delighted to have Health Minister Andy Burnham to open the conference.

ADM Chairman, Andrew Matthews said:

"This conference will not be two and a half days of sitting and listening. We have taken the three themes of modernisation, innovation and inspiration and built an interactive programme around them. There will be something for everyone, from the start of day one when we launch the new look ADM to the final morning when we promise to go out with a bang!"

As well as introducing a number of new features to this year’s programme, Andrew is extending the invitation on the first day, to a wider range of delegates including supervisors and Trust CE’s alongside Managers. This will create a real opportunity for some creative thinking on Modernisation and New Ways of Working, the theme for the workshop session on the first afternoon.

Another innovation is more exhibitor involvement:

"We spoke to exhibitors and they told us that they wanted more opportunity to interact with delegates. We have therefore built this into the programme in a variety of different and entertaining ways."

This approach is proving popular and exhibitor bookings are already up on last year (for a full list visit the conference website detailed below).

Entertainment is always an important part of the ADM conference. As a contrast to all the hard work during the day, the ADM entertainment committee have put their heads together and come up with a social programme bursting at the seams with ideas for the evenings. Much of this will only be revealed at the event, but think Vegas-style glamour on Wednesday night and lots of end of pier frivolity on Thursday.

The early bird discount is still available if you book online by 31st January at www.admconference.co.uk or call Susie Davies for further information on 01453 833668.
