Getting to grips with hand hygiene

In the continued fight against healthcare acquired infections (HAIs), Edwina Currie,Trustee of the Patients Association got to grips with the latest developments in hand hygiene when she visited medical hand hygiene manufacturers, Deb.

Currie was able to try first hand Deb’s Foam Sanitiser, as part of Deb’s new Cutan campaign.The Hand Foam Sanitiser is an alternative to alcohol gels,without stickiness and dispenser clogging.

“The Patients Association is proud to be linked to this outstanding business and its products,” says Currie.

During her visit the former MP was given a site tour.There was also the chance to make some soap; with Currie mixing in her own fragrance and colour in Deb’s Technical Laboratory.
