Dirty dozen? Not for BMA contract
August 1st 2006

MacLellan International has been awarded the contract for the British Medical Association's London headquarters for the twelfth year running. The Tavistock Square contract was granted to Ramoneur in 1994 before its integration into MacLellan.

MacLellan's Chief Operating Officer for the commercial division, Tony O'Shea, says the site manager and his team should be congratulated. "It's a great achievement, and our success is largely down to the MacLellan site manager, Mauricio Parra and his team who run the venue on a daily basis. The site has just passed a recent Health & Safety audit with flying colours, and we are hoping to achieve ISO 9000 accreditation in light of how well the site is organised."

The MacLellan staff on site were also recognised for their help in the aftermath of the July 7 bombings, which took place outside the building, when they rushed to help the injured, taking doors of hinges and using them as stretchers.
