Under hire and under pressure
October 1st 2008 When Bristol based hire centre Alide Hire experienced high demand for pressure
washers, it encountered problems cleaning returned equipment.With most of its hire
machinery and internal company stock loaned out, it turned to Demon International
to ease the pressure
Demon International has been specialised in pressure washers
for over 20 years and offers a full range of in-house
manufactured pressure washers to BSI standards.Demon's

right solution their particular cleaning problems.This can range from
a food production warehouse needing to clean equipment and

Demon works closely with hire centres
across the UK and has recently been
working with Alide Hire, based in Bristol,
which already had Demon Pressure
Washers as part of its fleet of hire
equipment.Alide also had its own machines
to use for cleaning returned machinery
once it came off hire.
The problem it faced was when demand
for hire pressure washers grew, it needed to
borrow internal company machines to loan
out, leading to a lack of the right equipment
available for cleaning.After discussing the
problem with Andrew Walke at Demon, it was
quickly identified that what Alide needed was a static machine as a
permanent fixture within its workshops for cleaning returned
equipment.
The Demon Cabinet Washer is a hot-water washer with a lockable
and removable front panel, a useful solution within warehouses and
workshops as it can be secured to the floor ensuring that the washer
is kept neat and tidy within busy production areas. Features include
in-cabinet chemical storage, auto-stop function and it also works well
with a wall-mounted retractable hose reel.
Alide Hire was delighted with the results and now has two Cabinet
Washers in its busy Bristol depots at Keynsham and St Werberghs.

explained to them our needs for a static cleaning system which
would be permanently available for plant washing on its return from

Demon has now placed a further two Cabinet Washers for the
same purpose at Thorncliffe Plant & Tool based in Rhyl, North Wales.
