Low pressure jetter cleans better October 1st 2006 Fraser Pump says its pressure jetting machine – which is also suitable for submerged operation – handles a wide variiety of industrial applications The new Aquabrade H10 from Fraser Pump is a highly efficient pressure jetting machine developed for surface cleaning and preparation in a wide variety of industrial applications that even include shallow water usage down to 10m. And since the design uses only low nozzle pressure (less than 80 psi) it creates both a more user friendly, safer operating area whilst also reducing environmental pollution, acccording to the company. Aquabrade H10 delivers a precise controlled blend of liquid, abrasives and compressed air, discharged in the form of wet slurry via a cleaning nozzle, the effect is to 'gently' scour away encrustations such as paint and corrosion remarkably quickly. One of the many advantages brought to the market by the Aquabrade H10 is faster cleaning and preparation work compared with dry-grit or highpressure jetting systems. By varying nozzle pressure and type of abrasive the Aquabrade H10 is able to tackle a wide variety of applications on both hard and soft surfaces, including graffiti removal, the cleaning of GRP and steel containers, corrosion removal for weld preparation as well as removal of plastics, greasy deposits and hard encrustations on pipework. Add the versatility of its operating capability to depths of 10m and the applications list will certainly grow to include pipeline repair and removal of pollutants such as contaminant build-up on stonework. The Aquabrade H10 has initially been developed as a trolley version that can be easily deployed anywhere on a single site. It comprises abrasive and water reservoirs and water, air and abrasive mixing facility, control valves and pumping equipment. Fraser Pump can also provide the Aquabrade H10 machine in skid or trailer mounted versions. Use the free reader enquiry system for further information.
