Greasy floor and other kitchen problems solved
January 1st 2006

The usual solution to greasy floor problems in fast food kitchens and public areas is to wash the area with a mop. But all this does is spread the problem - literally - until the floor becomes ingrained with grime, full of thriving bacteria, and likely to cause a slip and fall accident. A danger to staff and public alike.

Occasionally a floor scrubber drier will be used to reduce the risks and this will indeed return the floor to 'as new' condition - but such equipment cannot be used on walls, kitchen equipment, food preparation surfaces or serving counters, and is unlikely to be used frequently enough in smaller outlets such as independent cafes and restaurants to make much of a difference overall.

However, superheated dry steam applied under pressure by OspreyDeepclean cleaning machines not only dissolves grease and grime in no time, but also kills bacteria lurking in cracks, tile grout lines and in the tiniest gaps, leaving surfaces clean dry, sanitised and most of all, safe.

What's more, steam cleaning equipment can also be used on all surfaces in the kitchen and in public areas, not just on floors. Fryers and ovens are quickly de-greased, display counters, refrigerators and chillers sanitised, even freezers can be fast defrosted using OspreyDeepclean dry steam.

For restaurant eating areas dry steam will get rid of grease spots, wine and beverage spillages and stains in soft furnishings such as carpets, seating and curtains, keeping the premises always looking fresh and clean. Contact OspreyDeepclean for a demonstration.
