Fighting graffiti, gum and grime
December 1st 2003

As part of 3Gs overall promotion of its portfolio of services, particular attention has been focused upon Transport sector. Within this sector Buses/Trains/Stations constitute a major element. Trains & Buses suffer from very heavy Gum, Grime and Graffiti pollution. Some of this is simply the result of heavy day to day footfall, while some is, unfortunately, the result of abuse through vandalism and graffiti artists.

3G has positioned itself to help in two different ways. Firstly 3G can offer a full-outsourced service to provide a deep clean and then an ongoing routine cleaning service. Considerable work of this nature has been carried out within the Transport industry and 3G has the experience necessary to work within the tight turnaround restrictions that apply to train & bus fleets. Many customers feel that they achieve the best results by using an outsource service since a team such as 3G are specialised in what they do and have the experience necessary to provide a highly productive, and thus economical, solution to the dirty bus.

3Gs second offering is to supply the equipment and consumables necessary to the Train/Bus operators existing cleaners. For internal cleaning this would normally be in the form of 3Gs Vapor 3000 or Vapor 3000A units which are lightweight, but durable, single operator dry steam machines, adapted by 3g to carry out a full, range of cleaning including the removal of Gum. For heavier duty external cleaning, for example bus stops/terminals, 3G can supply a van mounted solution which enables a minimum of three operators to work at any one time.
