Contract winner

MDRCs Community Clean division has won a new contract with the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The contract, worth 500 000 over three years, includes: maintenance of highway structures, including Hammersmith Bridge; cleaning grime and graffiti from the structures; removing graffiti from parking meters; the application of anti-graffiti coatings to all structures; application of anti-fly-poster coating to street furniture; and emergency call-out for offensive/racist graffiti. Andy Izzard, technical director of MDRC, comments Our philosophy is to provide our clients with a complete graffiti management solution using our experience, new techniques and materials and IT. All chemicals used are bio-degradable and sourced from manufacturers who comply with MDRCs strict environmental policy.
