Cleaning professionals and sanitarians are increasing their use of foam for cleaning and sanitising, instead of using older methods. For example, the traditional high pressure sprayers can be destructive to equipment and tend to atomise food particles disperse them in the atmosphere. In another example, the common liquid sanitising baths are fine for human traffic, but don't address the spread of pathogens by wheeled traffic.
The Knight Foam Clean unit sprays thick rich foam that clings to vertical surfaces and penetrates cracks and crevasses. This clinging property allows the cleaning and sanitising chemicals in the foam to work much longer than if simply sprayed on.
The Foam Clean is available in wall mounted or mobile units.
It uses plant-supplied compressed air, and does not require electricity.
The built-in diaphragm pump makes foam consistent. The mobile Foam Clean version is designed to take you from one cleaning station to another. The well-balanced and easyto- use hand truck is almost indestructible.
The Knight FoamGuard II is a doorway sanitiser used in food plants. It is designed to lay down a thick blanket of sanitizing foam in doorways and passageways to help keep pathogens from spreading in food facilities. A blanket of sanitizing foam is a very effective barrier to foot-born or wheel-born microbes. The built-in 'smart' timer sets doorway sanitation levels by traffic load. The foam blanket is re-applied more frequently when the traffic load is greater. Pump-driven version available where water pressure is low.
