Using trolley power April 1st 2009 G4S the international
facilities management
and security company
has chosen Vileda Professional
products for its contract with
South Warwickshire General
Hospitals NHS Trust. Key to the
cleaning system is the Origo
trolley, which Vileda has adapted
to meet the hospital's
requirements.
Marion Bragg is the audit and
compliance manager for G4S.
She comments:"We needed a
bespoke trolley. Drawers were
required to store paper products
to reduce the risk of
contamination and for the safe
storage of chemicals.And the
trolley had to be designed for
use with Vileda's UltraSpeed and
Spray Express mopping systems
and a dolly mop. It also had to
be adjustable so it would fit in
to small storage rooms."
The UltraSpeed Mopping
System is based around a
wringer, break frame, handle and
high performance microfibre
mop pad. It's claimed the
system's funnel press wrings out
34% more water than traditional
wringers.Vileda claims tests
have shown that on a 50m2 area,
compared to traditional mops,
UltraSpeed is 51% faster than a
Kentucky mop and 62% faster
than a cotton socket mop.
SprayExpress is a ready-to-use
mop designed to clean smaller
floor areas quickly, and
effectively. It works
independently, without the
need for heavy buckets of water
normally associated with wet or
damp mopping. Key to its ease
of operation is the removable
cleaning solution tank. More articles from Vileda Professional: |
