Infection control masterclass

Group, presented an infection
control masterclass at the
Infection 2010 Conference, which
took place in London early
February.
The presentation by Ian Pether,
MD of iDCS, who has also
appeared on NHS247 TV and
contributed to various debates as
a valued expert on the subject of
Healthcare Acquired Infections
(HCAIs), was described as
'thought-provoking.' In particular,
Pether discussed the need for
cleaning that is effective, and
how this was something that all
staff needed to be involved in.
"It is vital to be sure that the
healthcare sector is doing
everything to keep the
environment as clean as we can,
giving staff and patients
confidence that we deliver clean,
