Proventec Healthcare has introduced the OxyPharm System, an effective whole area bio-disinfection solution for wards, operating theatres and intensive care rooms.

After dirt and soiling is physically removed by cleaning, the OxyPharm Nocospray unit is put into operation to thoroughly disinfect the air and all surfaces.

Based on Hydrogen Peroxide, a heating and ionizing turbine transforms the liquid chemical into an emission of dry fog for the required period of time.

It works by breaking down the biofilm that encases all micro-organisms, leading to their destruction.As the disinfectant is targeted at the biofilm and not at the organism, there is no opportunity for the organism to build up a chemical resistance.
