North Lincolnshire opts for steam

Following an exhaustive tender process and evaluation, North Lincolnshire NHS Trust has recently taken delivery of the first tranche of Vacuumated Steam Cleaners supplied by Duplex Cleaning machines, who were awarded the Contract.

The model, only launched a few months ago has been developed to offer the highest levels of performance and vacuum filtration, yet with minimum footprint and noise levels, in order to allow it to be used at all times without disturbing Patient care.

For instance the variable speed vacuum makes it convenient to use around Hospital beds and treatment table, quietly and efficiently. Additionally, the use of water filtration not only gives high levels of filtration but is instrumental in providing odour control using the barrier of water.

Thus, certain types of cleaning, unique within a healthcare environment such as occurring after a medical spillage, are a less unpleasant task for the operator.
