Surfaces stay bacteria free October 1st 2008 Radal Technology says its liquid coating provides surfaces with an anti-bacterial
coating for up to three years, making it just the job for infection control
RadaGlass is a liquid product that can be applied to any surface
– ceramic, glass, steel, stone or fabric. It provides both a barrier
against dirt and
moisture and an antibacterial
coating. RadaGlass is easy to
apply and treated surfaces
keep the antibacterial coating
for up to three years.
RadaGlass' ability to suppress
microbial growth has made it
a must for the NHS and other
organisations where infection
control is a priority says the
company.
In addition to its antimicrobial
properties,
RadaGlass provides a protected, easy clean surface. Radal says
cleaning contractors are 'snapping this product up' as it can reduce
cleaning time by 40%.There is no need for scrubbing
and intensive wiping/mopping – the treated surface
is easily cleaned and kept dry and smear free by the
coating.
The key to how it works is nano-molecular
technology. RadaGlass holds molecules of SiO2 (pure
glass) in solvent form which evaporate upon
application. This allows the glass molecules to bond
together and to the surface, forming a highly
durable, flexible glass coating.
RadaGlass is an environmentally friendly product
and was awarded the Green Apple Award in 2007
for its green
credentials. More articles from Radal Technology Limited: |
