Ultrafresh cleaner and disinfectant has been proven to kill both Clostridium Difficile and MRSA, according to Clover Chemicals.

The company says that in testing carried out by an independent laboratory, the product was proven to kill C. Difficile spores at a dilution of 1:20, in accordance with BS EN 13704.This is in addition to Ultrafresh's 99.999% kill rate against MRSA and other bacteria according to BS EN 1276.

With a neutral formulation, the product is suitable for daily use on all water washable floors and hard surfaces. The company particularly recommends Ultrafresh for use in care homes for disinfecting washroom surfaces, hand rails, door handles, tables, mobility equipment and any other surfaces where repeated hand contact may spread infection.

In addition to providing reliable disinfection, it neutralises any unpleasant odours, leaving a fresh, long-lasting pine fragrance – useful in washrooms where malodour can be a problem.
