Safety matting
August 1st 2011 Heavy duty Flexigrid matting,
manufactured by Plastic
Extruders, is being used over
large areas of floor at Technical
Fibre Products.
Flexigrid is designed for harsh
and demanding environments,
helping to provide safety and
comfort underfoot and minimise
the risk of slipping and tripping.
The matting has a deeply etched
surface which resists dirt, grease,
grime or production waste as
well as spillages from oils or
other liquids. With an R11 rated
slip resistance and the highest
V10 rating for liquid drainage, it
drains and dissipates spills.The
black matting is made from up to
100% post-industrial recycled
waste that is in turn 100%
recyclable at the end of its use.
The matting is manufactured
in 5 and 10m long rolls, 60 and
91cm wide, and also in modules
of various sizes with optional
