Keep your hands from chemicals
October 1st 2011

Ensuring workers are equipped with the right hand and arm protection when working with chemicals is one of the biggest challenges to health and safety in the workplace.

Marigold's new Chemical Permeation Chart, identifies the performance and protective qualities of its gloves against more than 140 common chemicals, making the task a lot easier.

Its new 12-page guide provides a simple way to selecting the right glove (and material) against a wide range of common workplace chemicals. It gives key breakthrough time (BTT) information delivered in colour coded levels, ranging from level 1 – less than 10 minutes protection – to level 6 – offering over 480 minutes breakthrough time.

In addition to having performance data listed for over 20 of its key chemical protective gloves, the new chart also includes permeation performance and breakthrough time information for its disposable gloves, which have been tested against almost 100 workplace chemicals.
