June 1st 2011 Vileda Professional's new Swep
Duo Micro Plus cleaning system
is a double-sided version of
Vileda's Swep microfibre mop
featuring a 50cm wide, 100%
microfibre double-sided mop.
Vileda estimates that using a
traditional mop and bucket
system to clean a 400 square
metre hospital ward requires
nearly 1.6m litres of water over a
three year period.Using Swep
Duo's pre-dosed mops is said to
reduce this to 98.5k litres.
"Using Swep Duo's preprepared
mops means you're
using the exact level of water for
optimum cleaning results," said
Vileda Professional's Steve Barber.
"Combine that with other savings
on chemical usage, laundry costs
and labour and you've got a
green cleaning formula that also
delivers massive potential all
round cost savings."
As Swep Duo is double-sided,
only half the amount of mops are
required to do the same amount of
work. Swep Duo mops also weigh
