'Green Handprint' for recycled paper products December 1st 2008 Kruger Tissue has launched its
'Green Handprint' programme
which is designed to educate
employees and customers by
example.
From November 1st, all Kruger
customers who buy 100%
recycled hand towels, roll towels
and toilet tissue and who want to
back the initiative will be
provided with 'Green Handprint'
stickers for their washroom
dispensers.This will communicate
to staff and visitors that the
business is actively green-aware
and setting a
responsible example
by using products
from recycled material.
"Companies that
buy our 100% recycled
tissue products now
have the opportunity of
announcing that they are actively
helping the environment," says
Jonathan Hooper, Kruger Tissue's
marketing manager."How often
do we all take a product from a
dispenser and not know anything
about what it is made of?
Anyone buying or using
our 100% green products
is now aware that they
are doing so."
More than 90% of the
Kruger tissue range is
made from 100%
recycled paper, over half is postconsumer
waste – saving 50,000
tonnes of paper from landfill. All
literature and packaging will
carry details of the recycled
content percentage. More articles from Connect Hygiene Products Ltd: |
