Matrix Cleaning Systems is putting its purchase of Dimplex Cleaning Systems' manufacturing rights to good use. The result is Mr Gummy, a dry super-heated steam gum removal system, developed with supermarket chains and local authorities

Graffiti and discarded chewing gum presents a huge cleaning problem in public places of all types. How can these areas be cleaned in a safe, environmentally friendly way with a minimum of disruption to customers and passers by? With a combination of dry, super-heated steam and environmentally friendly cleaning agents, chewing gum and graffiti can be quickly and conveniently removed.

It is estimated that 3.5 billion pieces of chewing gum are thoughtlessly discarded on our walkways. Using the newest methods of chewing gum removal, Matrix Cleaning Systems has been able to work with some of the largest supermarket chains, as well as many local authorities, to solve this problem. With the latest of steam cleaning techniques, discarded chewing gum can be removed without damage to surface, and without disruption to passing traffic.

With three machines available to assist in this sticky problem the Complete Mr Gummy, a highly mobile independently generator driven machine, the individual Mr Gummy either 110v or 240v and finally the Mr Gummy Junior. The three Matrix gum removal systems can cater for high to low levels of pollution.

A recent government report estimates the annual cost of graffiti removal to be 300 million. With super-heated steam, the graffiti can be safely and quickly removed. Unlike traditional methods of removing graffiti, steam cleaning is safe for the operator, the public, and the environment. With its speedy operation, the character of the area can be preserved, and repeat attacks discouraged.

Also available from Matrix Cleaning Systems is a complete range of general purpose cleaning systems, manufactured by us here in the UK, of which in many cases are also capable of removing chewing gum.

Following its purchase of the Dimplex Cleaning Systems manufacturing rights, Matrix Cleaning Systems now manufactures a complete range of steam cleaning machines based at its purpose built manufacturing plant at Leyland, Lancashire
