Ultra green with envii April 1st 2011 Bio8's new range of non-hazardous graffiti removers differs from
other 'non- hazardous environmentally friendly' solutions currently
available.
Aqueous chemistry, which is called Ultragreen, means the toughest
cleaning jobs can be completed with minimum risk to the user and
the general public.
Envii contains no aliphatic, aromatic or halogenated solvents (e.g.
methylene chloride/ dichloromethane), terpenes (e.g. orange
terpenes, d-limonene), Nmethyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) or Nethyl-2-
pyrrolidone (NEP), benzyl alcohol, Ábutyrolactone and other ketones,
organo-phosphates (e.g. triethyl phosphate), free caustic alkalis,
silicates, nor any alkyl phenol ethoxylates.
The Ultragreen formulation uses chemistry with natural
ingredients to achieve the maximum performance with the
minimum impact on the safety of the user and the environment. It is
said to be fully biodegradeable and contains non-hazardous
components with no mineral acids or caustic alkali.
Andrew Hiron,MD of Bio8 said,"Green products have always been
viewed with great suspicion as not being effective, however the
results and feedback from our users have been full of nothing but
praise, and even in the recent cold weather Envii EN685 Plastic Safe
worked at a temperature of -8.5°C (both substrate and liquid)
showing its suitability for all weather conditions".
Bio8 say that the Envii range ensures that cleaning of graffiti can
be safely undertaken by cleaning operatives without the need for
specialist training and also reduces the risks for the general public.
The Envii range is suitable for local authorities, transport
companies, advertising companies, contract cleaners and
professional graffiti removal
companies. More articles from Bio8 Ltd: |
