Gumbusters – no messing August 1st 2008
As its name suggests,GumBuster's
equipment takes the gum off the
streets. It uses dry steam and an
environmentally friendly cleaning
agent – wasting much less water
than traditional methods – and
leaving a surface that dries quickly.
The steam is injected with
detergent, and the gum is instantly
heated to 175°C, removing the
stickiness from the gum which is
simultaneously dissolved.
The firm behind GumBusters,
OspreyDeepclean, says this is far
less inconveience to the public than
pressure washer-based gum
removal.
The GumBusters machine can be
mounted either in a trolley or a van,
and the small amount of water
needed (under 40 litres per day)
means it is a genuinely selfsufficient
street-cleansing unit. More articles from Osprey Deepclean Ltd: |
