The RE 142 is the latest high-pressure cleaner from STIHL, delivering a powerful and adjustable cold water jet to clean paths and paved areas, as well as vehicles, machinery, plant and tools

The spray grip and lance of the RE 142 rotate in the hand for a comfortable hold and their anti-twist coupling prevents the restriction of a tangled hose.

The fan jet nozzle sprays water in a wide, flat jet which effectively cuts through dirt; the water pressure is adjusted on the nozzle to move between cleaning delicate surfaces.A choice of additional accessory nozzles, brushes, angled lances and lance extensions are also available.

The integrated reel makes handling and stowing the high-pressure hose a quick and tidy task.The hose is steel braided for longer lift and at a full 12m gives reach to clean around planters or vehicles, without having to move the machine itself. Nozzles and the spray lance are all stowed on the compact wheeled chassis.A transparent detergent tank adds measured amounts of cleaner, it is also easy to top up.

The RE 142 PLUS has a powerful 2.8kW electric motor which drives a working pressure between 10 and 128 bar.

The motor's pistons are wear resistant and ceramic coated with a brass pump head. Controls are straightforward and simple to use. The water pressure and water throughput are easily adjusted to suit the task, and working pressure is then read from the gauge on the machine.

An automatic power stop ensures the motor and pump only run while the spray lance trigger is activated;wear is also reduced and noise is eliminated when the machine is not operating.
