GraffitiHotline.co.uk has a new range of REACH compliant graffiti removal chemicals Formally published last year, the EU-driven REACH legislation came into force in June this year, introducing major changes to the way chemicals are managed in terms of safety and environmental information. Researched and manufactured in the UK, GraffitiHotline.co.uk says its new range is entirely free from Dichloromethane and NMP (Nmethylpyrrolidone). Completely biodegradable, the wash-water is safe to run into the ground and storm water drains. The five products in the ISO9000 and ISO14001-compliant range include: GraffitiHotline Gel – for use with brick, concrete, stone and other porous surfaces. Optimising contact on rough surfaces, the gel readily washes away with water and won't leave floors slippery. GraffitiHotline Ghosting Remover – effective in removing graffiti shadows, the company claims it is less corrosive than existing products, making it safer for operators and enabling longer brush life. Also suitable for use on wooden surfaces such as fence panels. GraffitiHotline Clear –GraffitiHotline Clear, for the removal of paint, ink and marker pen graffiti from non-porous surfaces. GraffitiHotline Ultra – a specialist product formulated to remove stubborn leather shoe dye graffiti. GraffitiHotline Wipes – designed for sensitive surfaces, are polycarbonate safe, therefore effective on bus shelters, telephone kiosks and similar structures. The wipes also allow for the careful and controlled removal of graffiti from signs.
