Fortunately, its Victor range has numerous products that meet this criteria Using cleaning equipment with vacuumisation or HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filtration is vital to reduce the risk of contamination, filter out bacteria dust mites, fungal spores and particulate allergens, and therefore protecting the operative, says Victor, the floor cleaning machine specialist.
Victor's range of cleaning machines are well established in HEPA filtration with the Victor V9, a nine litre capacity tub vacuum with HEPA fitted as standard. Designed for a commercial environment rather than domestic, the robust V9 offers filtration efficiency at 99.9964%, reducing particles down to 0.3microns in size.
Many of Victor's other machines are available with HEPA such as the Europa Vacuumated Rotary and Excel Ultra Speed Rotary. For larger areas, a vacuumated rotary is a more efficient option. When the floor is buffed or sprayed with cleaning fluid, the high-speed brush creates a dust. A vacuumated machine will collect this dust as it cleans, saving the operator time by eliminating another process and protects them from breathing in the dust as it atomises.

The Excel Ultra Speed Rotary affords all the benefits of a vacuumated rotary as well as giving the floor a lasting and hardwearing finish. An Ultra High-Speed rotary can be used on most sealed floors to create a higher and harder shine that will be easier and more cost effective to maintain. Working at a speed of 1,000 rpm, the Excel rotary machine is available with a 16 and 20 inch cleaning pad and is can be used on all hard floor types and requires very little user training.
Using HEPA in areas where fine dust is created when working, such as wood mills and woodworking areas, is crucial for the operative.
The Victor 'Woody' vacuum is a specialist machine for these areas, safely removing sawdust and wood shavings. It combines a 35-litre reinforced, disposable paper dust bag with HEPA filtration that exceeds the standard level by a considerable margin.
Woody has oversized rear wheels making it easier to manoeuvre, even when it is full or being moved up stairs, and a folding handle for easy storage. It has a fixed nozzle for larger areas and a wand for hard to reach areas as well as a full tool kit including a floor brush, carpet tool and crevice tool.
