Not flattered by bad bag imitations
October 1st 2008

SEBO has made the cleaning industry aware of the false economy of using imitation vacuum cleaner bags by launching a leaflet and new website page.As with any product, an imitation is never as good as the original, however similar they may look, says specialist vacuum cleaner manufacturer. It says fake bags affect machine longevity, reliability and performance and could result in a machine's guarantee being voided and money wasted.

SEBO says the basic rule is to only buy genuine bags from the manufacturer or its dealer network. It says its 3-layer bags use high quality specially treated paper.Non-genuine bags are only one or two layer.SEBO bags give the optimum airflow for best performance and keep the motor running within the correct temperature range. The bags give high filtration which makes filters last longer and stops fine dust getting into the machine.
