Heavy duty hired guns
June 1st 2006

Equipment hire specialist, HSS Hire, has introduced a nationwide fleet of Nilfisk-ALTO industrial vacuums to meet the needs of building contractors and facilities management firms across the UK.

Strong growth in the cleaning hire market has lead to a demand for machines that perform well in environments where health and safety issues can arise, according to the company.

The machines selected include Wet & Dry models for large scale cleaning and Health & Safety vacuums for use in explosive and fine dust environments. The other two models available from HSS are: the Heavy Duty Site Vacuum, with a widened nozzle and anti kink hose for picking up large debris on site and; the Dust Extractor, another wet and dry machine with an ExtremeClean filter system.

"Our customer are looking for high performance machines that can help them do their job more effectively without having to stop frequently to unblock filters," says HSS Hire product director, Colin Brown. "The advanced features of the Nilfisk-ALTOs allow the user to maximise productivity with cleaner results. Fewer problems for our customer means that these machines will stay out on hire for longer."
