Healthy orders for steam machine firm
April 1st 2007 Duplex is making headway in the healthcare sector with several major contracts already this year. The company has just completed the installation of 40 JET VAC M Spec steam cleaners for United Lincolnshire NHS trust to be used in all the Hospitals in their area.This is the second tranche of machines ordered by the authority.The M Spec is specifically designed for use in medical facilities and features a water filtration vacuum with variable control in order to cause minimum disturbance in patient areas. Gartnavel Hospital in Glasgow had slightly different focus, using steam as a cleaning and sanitising agent it did not require vacuum pick up.Accordingly it selected the 3kw JET VAC Maxima with chemical injection. Duplex has also supplied 15 DUPLEX 340 Twin contra rotating brush machines to Northampton General Hospital.The machines were fitted with the optional steam kit as well as the standard tanks and have been installed in all areas of the hospital both patient care and support areas.
