Faster drying floor finishes
December 1st 2007 A British home furnishing store
has chosen Betco Express fast
drying floor finish for its new
showpiece Sussex store.The
retailer specified five coats of
Betco Express floor seal and
shine system to prepare for the
store's opening.
Little did he know that there
would be a power cut on the
night of its application.
Operating on only two hours of
emergency power was enough
for the five coats to be applied
throughout the store.The same
number of applications of any
other floor sealer/polish could
not have been carried out and
dried in only two hours.

wet look shine ready to walk
on in five minutes."There is no
way we could have closed the
store the night before our first
day's trading, just to allow a
floor to dry," says Harry
Jusindra, area manager for
Britannia Services Group, the
cleaning contractors.
"With Betco Express we
simply coned off small areas at
a time while store staff
continued stocking shelves
elsewhere. It was no
inconvenience and I would
recommend it to contractors."
With five coats of Betco Express
it is unlikely that the store will
need any further attention for
