Sweep inside and out December 1st 2007 Hako says its latest machine, the Jonas 1200 ride-on vacuum sweeper, delivers power,
speed, efficiency and comfort
With its sweep width of 80 cm, the Jonas 1200 cleans areas of
up to 13,200m2 and is as effective outdoors as indoors. The
25-litre fuel tank enables running times of up to ten hours
without refuelling, while the battery version has a running time of up
to five hours. There's a choice of petrol, LPG, diesel or battery drive all
with a sweeping speed of 8 km/hr.The 1200 also has a climbing ability
of 18 per cent.
Dirt and debris are picked up via a free-floating, suspended main
broom, which can be adjusted easily to suit different types of floor
conditions. The large main broom diameter and the patented ABBA
(Automatic Hopper-Brush Adaptation) system, which compensates
for wear, ensures a perfect sweeping level over the whole lifetime of
the main broom. The efficient cassette filter system, which is easily
accessible, has a 5m2 filter area, which ensures clean used air and is
designed to last the lifetime of the machine.
Operators are rewarded with a comfortable seat and a view of the
working service. The large wheels can easily mount kerbs and ensure
increased driver comfort on uneven surfaces. The machine has a
range of optional extras such as a silence-kit which gives additional
sound damping and noise insulation for night time cleaning. An
optional roof is available to protect the operator when using the
machine in warehouses or outside in all weathers.
