Nilfisk-Advance is taking industrial sweeping to a new level of ease and efficiency with the launch of the SR 1601 ride-on sweeper

Nilfisk's new SR 1601 features a host of innovations to increase cleaning productivity, enhance dust control, ensure greater reliability and enable simple operation and servicing.

Specifically designed for industrial cleaning applications, Nilfisk's SR 1601 makes a clean sweep of even heavily soiled surfaces – inside and out – in environments such as factories,workshops, car parks and construction sites. It is currently available in a three cylinder Diesel version, with LPG and battery powered models due to follow shortly.

The new SR 1601 industrial sweeper is fitted with Nilfisk's DustGuard dust control system, which consists of misting nozzles that project a fine moisture spray on to the brushes to control airborne dust during sweeping.The machine has a large 900mm main broom and a sweeping path of 1,600mm to clean large floor areas at a rate of up to 12,800m2/h. Productivity and performance are further enhanced by the free floating design of the main broom for effective sweeping of different floor types and uneven surfaces.

To make maintenance and servicing quick and simple, the SR 1601 industrial sweeper features Nilfisk's No-Tools design.This means the main and side broom can be changed without the need for special tools, resulting in reduced downtime.

The sweeper also incorporates Nilfisk's MaxAccess system to cut servicing time and the interlocking covers simply lift off for fast and easy access to key components.

Nilfisk-Advance has made the new SR 1601 ride-on industrial sweeper easy to use, with one-touch controls to reduce training time and operator errors.The machine is ergonomically designed for user comfort and offers excellent visibility for increased cleaning productivity and safety. Suitable for use in even the most demanding industrial environments, the SR 1601 is designed with strong yet lightweight polyethylene covers and bumpers over a steel chassis. It is fitted with a 315 litre hopper and incorporates a high-dump capability of up to 159cm from the ground.
