Small footprint, big savings December 1st 2007 Meeting the need for a scrubber drier with reduced energy and water requirements,
JohnsonDiversey says its Taski swingo XP increases productivity by up to 30 per cent
Ride-on operation, compact size and ease of use combine with
patented scrubbing heads and squeegee attachments to create
a tool that is suitable for daytime cleaning in busy areas such as
hospitals. JohnsonDiversey says it is especially useful for hospital
corridors and other large areas where the productivity gains free up
time for more detailed cleaning.
The environmentally-friendly v-shaped micro-rotating Taski S-pad
scrubbing unit provides consistent peak-performance.This combines
the advantages of conventional roller and disc brushes for a 50 per
cent reduction in water consumption and 30 percent reduction in
energy consumption compared with conventional scrubber driers.
Used with the correct Taski brush/pad it can cover over 4000m2 in one
tank fill. The multi-directional scrubbing action is said to enable
excellent soil removal.
The w-shaped squeegee's three castor design allows it to follow the
floor profile for total dryness, even at high working speeds, on all
types of surface including structured, tiled and grouted floors. This
means the machine can be used at any time of the day while
reducing the potential risk of associated slip fall accidents.
The machine has a small footprint for a medium to large scrubber
drier. Stand-on operation combines the speed of a ride-on machine
with the manoeuvrability of a walk-behind for faster cleaning. The
sensor steering system provides manoeuvrability and agility, making
the machine suitable for working in congested areas, cleaning along
walls or around columns.Maintenance is simplified with easily
identified colour-coded yellow service points that help operators to
keep the machine clean to assist with infection control. For further
