Easy dose it with new floor care technology
December 1st 2006 With new scrubber drier designs and a detergent dosing system, Kärcher's looking forward to 2007 Kärcher has launched its new detergent DOSE system (Demand Oriented Supply of Detergent) for its scrubber driers.The DOSE system supplies a controlled mix of chemical to the brush head for a cost efficient, effective clean. The system benefits the operator as it removes the guesswork from how much chemical to add into the machine. It also leaves no chemical contamination in the tank, preventing bacterial growth. The DOSE system enables the operator to react quickly to the different degree of soiling on the floor.With a touch of a button the amount of detergent concentrate can be adjusted between 0.5% to 3%, to allow a more effective cleaning process. Once the level of detergent concentrate is set the system automatically supplies the right level of chemical to the brush head, hence reducing any waste and making it a cost effective way of cleaning. Detergent packs are available in 2.5 litre and 10 litre bottles and are stowed in the dosing slot, separate from the tank.The packs can be easily changed and with no detergent spillage. All new scrubber driers from Kärcher will now be available with the DOSE option. New design scrubber driers The new BR/BD 45/40 scrubber driers from Kärcher replace the very successful BR/BD 530. A new design enables ease of use, better operator comfort, longer operation times and innovative technology.The BR/BD 45/40 is available in roller or disc brush.The tank in tank system for fresh and wastewater enhances machine stability and reduces the dimensions of the unit. With its innovative simple way of cleaning with EASY (Ergonomic Application System) one button operation, it allows faster operator training, according to Kärcher. The BD version has a new patented brush change system making it even simpler to change brushes. Both the BR/BD versions come with integral on board charger and are available in either gel or wet batteries. It is also available with the DOSE system,making it suitable or contract cleaners, the retail and food industry, healthcare, small manufacturing and shopping areas.
