Cleaning machine creates flawless floors
April 1st 2007 Floors in Primark's newest store in Stoke-on-Trent are being kept in tip-top condition with floor cleaning equipment from Nilfisk- Advance. The new Hanley store is one of Primark's largest, with 68,000ft2 of retail floor space. Offices, stock rooms and warehousing add 32,000ft2. Nilfisk's BA 510S pedestrian scrubber/dryer provides a versatile solution for cleaning the store's wide range of hard floor coverings, including laminate and vinyl. The BA 510S features freefloating brushes, which operate at 180rpm, for fast and effective floor cleaning regardless of floor surface levels. It has a generous cleaning width of 530mm and a productivity rate of up to 1,800m2 per hour. An asymmetric brush design allows cleaning right up to the edge, while a low noise level of 65 dBA means that cleaning can even be undertaken during opening hours, if necessary, without disturbing shoppers.
