High shine, zero chemicals
August 1st 2008

3M's High Shine diamond floor cleaning system generates high shine without the need for chemicals thanks to a layer of diamond particles within the Diamond Plus pads.

The system uses three types of pads – Scotch-Brite Plus Purple Diamond pad, the Scotch-Brite Plus Sienna Diamond pad and the Orange and Green Daily maintenance pad. These are used in sequence to create and maintain a high level of shine. The product is typically used on large areas of marble or terrazzo floors, e.g. in supermarkets, by customers who use large quantities of chemicals.

3M says the net effect on chemical reduction for such users could be significant.

The firm also claims the range has a longer life than rival pads, which would also reduce environmental impact – less product means less packaging and deliveries.
