Unger says its new SmartColor Microfibre Damp Mop enhances cleanliness and hygiene by reducing the risk of cross-contamination

Unger says the latest product in its floor cleaning range comes in a range of four colours, to help prevent crosscontamination between cleaning in different areas.

The SmartColor Damp Mop's 100% high-multi polyester microfibre design provides outstanding cleaning with minimal drag, quick drying and streak-free results. Each mop can also be washed up to 500 times before replacement, making it extremely durable, easy to clean and cost-effective.

This low-moisture, high-absorbency damp mop is constructed with nonwoven fabric inserts and backing. It is compatible with a wide range of floor types, ranging from concrete to laminate and wood to slate and many others. All Unger's products are ergonomically designed to reduce the risk of injury and to promote greater productivity.

Cross-contamination is prevented by using different colours in the different areas being cleaned, combining superior technology with the productivity and sanitation benefits of visual coding. For example, red can be used in the washroom, blue for general cleaning and yellow in the kitchen area.

Cleaning managers can customise a colour code system for the specific needs of their facility.
