The best kept secret...until now
August 1st 2005

Wetrok is currently placed as one of the only companies in the UK cleaning industry that can offer a one-stop shop of cleaning machines, consumables and chemicals.

Its carpet and upholstery range consists of The Extravac 280, 340 and 400. These machines are designed for high quality portable deep vacuuming, which dramatically improves hygiene and appearance.

The Extravac 280 is a self contained, light spray extraction machine for small to medium sized areas. The Extravac 340 is a spray extraction machine with rotating brush, which can be used for periodic cleaning requirements.

The most recent addition to the range is the Extravac 400, which is a powerful spray extraction machine and can be used for larger, more demanding areas. This comes with highpressure pump, 2-11 bar which is adjustable. All models come with a wide range of carpet and upholstery tools that suit all requirements.

To add to this Wetrok also supply cleaning chemicals, thus forming the perfect partnership to their high quality carpet and upholstery machines. One of the main reasons why Wetrok manufacture chemicals is clear; why spend time and money, on research and production of top quality machines, for them to be used in conjunction with poor quality cleaning chemicals, which would then reflect badly on Wetrok as a provider, as the ultimate cleaning result may not be achieved due to inferior chemicals being used.

The best chemicals to use with Wetrok’s carpet and upholstery machines are, Wetrok Karpex T1 and Wetrok Retex T2. Karpex is a non – foaming, highly efficient extraction agent, especially suitable for heavily soiled wall to wall carpets and is particularly suitable for fully synthetic and mixed fibres. Retex is less aggressive than Karpex and is suitable for use on wool. Both cleaning chemicals leave behind a light and pleasant fragrance Someone who can confirm the cleaning power of Wetrok’s chemicals and machines is Sylvia Wilson, head of cleaning at the Multiple Sclerosis Society who have recently purchased an Extravac 340.

Sylvia confirms, “Since the purchase of both machine and Retex chemical, we have had comments from staff and clients alike saying how clean our carpets are looking. The carpets have rejuvenated back to their original state and the whole building now looks much brighter and fresher.” Sylvia continues, “this would not have been possible without the purchase of the Extravac 340 and Retex. I would certainly recommend Wetrok’s chemical and cleaning machine range to other companies looking for a quality cleaning result.” 2005 has been a very busy year so far for Wetrok UK; new managing director, 50th anniversary celebrations, end of the 12-month search for the oldest Wetrok Scrubber Drier, new products and plans of growth. Cornell Bircher, managing director, Says; “Wetrok is renowned in the UK for its range of Scrubber Driers, whereas other products such as our chemicals, consumables, Vacs, Transport Trolleys and smaller cleaning machines are not so well known. We will change this in the future so that we become known as a complete solution provider in the UK.

Using my experience gained in Switzerland we will focus on specific cleaning sectors such as the NHS and their current cleaning requirements. We will do this by using successful cleaning techniques already used by Wetrok throughout the world.

The 12-months search for the oldest Wetrok proved to the industry that Wetroks cleaning performance and build quality is exceptional. This is true across our whole product range.” So What other plans are there for Wetrok UK? “We will increase staff in areas that will help further improve our customer service levels both pre and post sale. This is very important for Wetrok as a business, as the customer must always come first. We will also focus more on Direct Sales in addition to our successful National Accounts business. We can also expect to see new machine upgrades and new product launches as we continue to develop our product portfolio and improve our overall market share.
