Soapless bubbles remove dirt
June 1st 2008

New ech2o technology available with the Tennant T3 and T5 pedestrian scrubber dryers means there is no need for chemicals within the machines. Supplied by Clemas & Co, the new technology activates water to perform like a detergent. Benefits to the user include cost efficiency, environmental issues and health and safety.

The machine is filled with tap water, which is then infused with highly oxygenated micro-bubbles.

The oxygenated water produced is sent though a water cell where an electric current is applied. The charged water attacks the dirt breaking it into smaller particles and pulling it off the floor's surface; after approximately 45 seconds the charged water loses its charge and returns to water.

All that is left in the recovery tank is tap water and dirt.

Cleams & Co says as no chemicals are involved, many health and safety risks are eliminated and slip and fall accidents are reduced though the elimination of slippery detergent residue.

The only solution to enter the machine is tap water, helping reduce the environmental impact of traditional cleaning chemicals. It is claimed ech2o uses up to 70 per cent less water than conventional scrubbing methods. With no need to purchase cleaner, detergent fill and drain times are reduced.
