Shortage of staff? Floors to clean? You need Robo scrubber
April 1st 2006

Cleanfix says its Robo 40 robot scrubber - unlike most people - works continuously for 4 hours without a break and without any supervision.

The unit senses the floor area to be cleaned and scrubs continually until no dirty marks remain. The operator simply sets Robo 40 to do its job in the designated area and then gets on with other jobs that do require human intervention.

The 4 hour working time allows Robo 40 to clean 1,000 sq metres of floor space efficiently and thoroughly using its preprogrammed and controlled spiralling movement across the floor. Sensors mean it deflects from any fixed objects in the area, plus walls and doors. If anyone a places a foot in the way the worst they will feel is a gentle nudge before the machine quickly spirals away, says Cleanfix.

Simple and easy to use, Robo 40 cannot replace the cleaner, but it's a clever solution to staff shortages.
