Gold star for floors August 1st 2003 Built in the nineties Broadfields Primary School in Essex has always provided facilities in which pupils can excel. But until they purchased the Duplex 420 scrubber-dryer they had difficulty achieving a gold star for their flooring.
Like most schools built in the nineties it makes extensive use of non-slip flooring; ideal for the demands that busy facilities such as schools put on them. However, the traditional cleaning approaches of a mop or rotary scrubber only clean the raised areas of the profiled surface. This leaves dirt, and any chemical used, to accumulate in the low profile areas. The Duplex brushes agitate right into the nooks and crannies to make a remarkable difference to the quality of the floors, commented facilities manager Terry Pinto. And it saves me time by combining our normal cleaning methods in one action.
The 420 cleans all floor surfaces, from carpets and entrance matting to all hard floors, including awkward profile flooring. A 600rpm cylindrical brush agitation means little or no chemical is required, creating further savings in consumables. More articles from Duplex Cleaning Machines (UK) Ltd: |
