Alterative to scrubber dryers
August 1st 2003 Kaivac UK announced today the European launch of the KaiAuto, a wide-area squeegee which enables its No-Touch Cleaning systems to clean floors as deeply as a scrubber dryer but in a way that extends the life of the floor finish rather than shortening it.
Typically, scrubber dryers allow very little dwell time, instead relying on
a harsh scrubbing action to achieve their results. In use they tend to grind dust and particulates into the floor finish and dull it. As a result, floors typically require frequent burnishing and premature re-coating, which can be expensive.
Conversely, the new KaiAuto process which is based on a spray on, vac off process has a built-in dwell time of several minutes allowing its finish-friendly neutral cleaning solution to penetrate and float dirt for easy removal by vacuum. The result is a comparable cleaning effect with little or no agitation.
The KaiAuto is available in both 28-inch (711mm) and 42-inch (1067mm) widths. It is able to clean hard to reach places such as corners, alcoves, doorways, and under furniture, that scrubber dryers cannot reach.
