Enzyme versatility
June 1st 2010

Professional cleaners have been using enzymes for years to speed up and increase the effectiveness of cleaning, and Chemspec's Enz-All is a powerful enzyme based prespray.

Enzymes are coupled with a high pH value to create Enz- All's 'outstanding'performance but some fibres, like wool for example, do not respond well to high alkalinity. In such cases a product with a lower pH level, Pre-Kleen Enzyme Soil Lifter, will allow the benefits of enzymes to be used safely for wool and commercial upholstery.

In restaurants, carpets become heavily soiled with food contaminants like proteins and fats, especially in the traffic areas leading from busy kitchens.

Enz-All is usually suitable as a pre-spray in these situations and, increasingly, a high foaming product, Enzyme Carpet Shampoo, is being used very effectively with rotary scrubbing and bonnet systems.

The speed of operation, low moisture and hence rapid drying achieved makes this approach fit for circumstances where only short periods are available between opening times.

Hard surfaces also benefit from the use of enzymes and a solution of Enz-All mopped onto a floor and left for five or ten minutes of dwell time will allow fast and easy removal of really heavy soiling.
