No trips or stuck trolleys
December 1st 2006

Gripfit has launched a new design of DDAconforming, low profile secure entrance matting that alleviates trip hazards, allows wheeled traffic (trolleys, stock cages, wheelchairs, buggies etc.) to flow over it unimpeded.

Developed with 3M,Milliken and others, Gripfit is robust, easy to clean and safe for use in high wear areas, such as entrances, walkways and POS areas.

The tough aluminium frame fits any hard flooring surface, without the need to dig an entrance well.

Once in place, the mat is laid within the framework and securely clamped by an upper aluminium extrusion – meaning no trip or creep issues – and the low profile frame can be removed in seconds for cleaning.

"For high street retailers, some of whom annually fund six figure claims from trip incidents, this system is an absolute must," says Gripfit director, Ben Colbourne.
